Like a fool I let my SF-2 escape my grasp because I had found an amp with semi-parametric capability that I thought would get me where I wanted. Stupid, stupid, stupid!
Looking for a reasonably-priced (not necessarily silly-cheap) Superfilter. Feel free to contact me.
I had the misfortune of playing through a SF-2 last weekend & now I'm ruined! My Eden amp, which I thought was the sound I had been looking for my whole life, now sounds like a Pignose amp! So I too am in the market for a SF-2.
Get in line. Though I do admit the DTar Equinox does a pretty good job in the band-pass department if you have a mix (wet/dry) control on your effect loop. It also costs a lot less (used for $160). I'd still love to have an SF-2 though.
I'm holding out for the SF-2. If I can get a couple of OT days I'll buy a new one!
New gear is nice !
......& expensive!!!
My OT days have presented themselves....SF-2 on order!
After a couple of weeks working with the DTar Equinox, I'd say I like it and it does 50% of what I wanted (in fairness, the Eq. was designed primarily for acoustic guitar - not electric bass...). But what I want is still an SF-2. Anybody out there have an SF they aren't using alot? Anybody? (Bueller?)
I bit the bullet & bought a new one....no regrets! It lives up to it's legend!!!
