I have never tried messing with the pickup height, or the bridge height. The pickups only have 2 screws. I cant see the pickups move no matter which way I turn them, and a couple of them seem stuck. Which direction to lower the pickups? Which direction to raise the bridge? The strings seem to buzz a little. Thanks

I've read everything I could find, but none them talk about the guitar pickups used on the Tribute/Furthur....
That thread talks about a different Pickup. I dunno........

Sorry about that, I didn't click that the pickups were differently mounted.  I suppose this would be good for me to know too as my Orion guitar has got the same larger hum cancelling pickups as your tribute. Personally I have never had a cause to change the pickup height on that guitar.
 
Like you I would assume the screw at either side should raise or lower the pickup height.  However I wouldn't have associated string buzz with pickup height unless they are actually touching the moving string.  
 
However I'm no expert though I'm sure some of the members here with a tribute or similar guitar will chip in soon and give you some advice. If time is of the essence, you could give Alembic a call and I'm sure they will be able to point you in the right direction.

Turning the screws clockwise lowers the pickups:  I lowered the bridge pickup on my Further.

The 2-hole pickups are mounted exactly like the bridge with machine screws held with aircraft fasteners. These go into threaded metal inserts in the body of the guitar. As Mark said, turning clockwise will lower the pickups and the bridge.  
 
If the pickup is stuck when you rotate clockwise, then it's reached the limit and you will need a shorter screw if you want the pickup to go lower yet.
 
With the string buzz, you should probably adjust the truss rod first, since the neck is the only thing that will move without you making a direct adjustment.

I turned the double nickel last April.  Welcome to the club.  Now what's this crap about being an old guy?   You ain't even middle-age until you turn at least 60!  lol

I must agree with Bill, but doesn't it seem like yesterday that 30 was middle-aged?  And I must say that I've noticed people in their 50s are dying much younger than they used to.

I lowered the pickups a bit, and raised the action just a tad. Now it plays great. I feel younger already...

I bet we all remember that when our parents were 50 +  we thought Man that is OLD!!!
And now here we are!!
Then again how many 50+'s back then could  operate a computer, I do think that our generation has had to adapt quickly to the advancement in technology than our parents and the younger people of today take mobile phones/computers/game consoles for granted.

Is the truss-rod adjustment the same as on a bass? Counter-clockwise for some relief?
