Wow that's one of the coolest pieces of walnut I've seen and I'm not normally a walnut fan.

Maybe one of the coolest pieces of wood, period (and yeah, I'm not generally a walnut fan either).
 
Can't be sure, but I sort of think it's upside down - I'd like to catch some of that wide, dark stuff at the bottom of the bass, but there are a lot of great possibilities here. Be fun to see how this turns out.
