by the way, i am getting a fretless 5 string quoted. Has anyone seen the rosewood in person?

Nice bass, enjoy! If you do a search for rosewood, you'll find some pictures. I've been thinking about rosewood too.

Thanks for tip.  I did the search, and i like what i saw in  
the search.(However so many choices)  Played my first show tonight with the above alembic. WOW. Got a show every night through next Sunday. Looking forward to every night. Everyone have a good week.

New Trace Elliot stack..Was a tough thing to round up from central Illinois. three pcs. from three different places around the U.S. I really like the way it sounds. John

TE used to be my favourite until my back gave up on me ! I never tryed the new line but the old pre-gibson was outstanding.

Nice action shot of a great looking bass!
 
BTW - I have a vintage TE GP12SMX preamp that will be for sale as soon as I can get pictures of it. Just add amp(s) appropriate to the size of your venue and you have that classic TE sound!
