This bass has extremely deep & sweet sound which I have never heard before. 36" extra long scale + 3ebony laminates make 15" woofers swing easily!

Beautiful! Play it Healthy! Art
A 36 scale Alembic, with 3 ebony stringers played through 4 Bag End 15's and a Walter Woods head!! That is a sweet setup and I'll bet that B string brings some thunder!
Damn Toshi!!!!!
I gotta get a 5 string! That's a sweet Axe, congratulations. I love those Bag Ends too!(You're a bassist after my heart. See Chalie's Distillate)
I'm curious how everything sounds using the Walter Woods Head. Keep it Low and stay out of treble!
Chalie
Love that Omega headstock!
Charlie, I was @ Will Gunn's shop checking out some basses through a small rig which consisted of a Walter Woods amp and 2 Acme 1x10's w/no horn. The e.q. was flat and the sound was deep and to the point. In other words....nice and round.
Hi Ya Adam! And thank you so much for the skinny on the Walter Woods Amp!
Toshi..My Distillate brother! I love that distillate of yours man! I listened to your recording too...most excellent! What did you use to record your song with?
Oh yeah, I do get massive bass with the double 18's because I have QSC 2450 dedicated to run them, But I use a Boss GEB-7 Equalizer to enhance the bottom and the bottom really becomes gigantic!
Chalie
Chalie, I feel as same as Adam for WalterWoods amp. It has very neutral sound with a little warmth which make me feel so good. I added the recording data on Distillate (http://club.alembicguitars.net/index.php?topic=9085) thread.

Nice! A Series 2 bass into a Walter Woods amp powering Bag Ends was my rig right up until I stopped playing electric. Great, flexible sound.
A beautiful bass and a great rig! Congratulations Toshiaki.

It's a shame the forum can't do MP3's, I would love to hear this one!
There's a whole lot of ebony in that neck. Very pretty. Play it in good health.
Since no one else commented on it, I'll point out that it is potentially risky to have a Balance K or similar bass rest on the omega tips -which have been known to break off in some such circumstances. Not the end of the world, but something I'm sure any proud owner would prefer to avoid -along with whatever the costs of repair would be.
I noticed that too - I'm hoping the flexibility of the tatami mats underneath are giving added cushioning!
masterofmanystrings, Thanks for the attention. I know the dangerous and don't need to worry about it. I hung the bass on the wall immediately after took the pics. As Harry mentioned, a tatami mat has a little cushion but it's not enough to protect the tips.
Congrats Toshiaki; this is a wonderful bass!
36 scale w/ three ebony lams - I know what you mean.
