Looks like Koa to me. Mica can tell you for sure.

Hi,

here are the details, I checked with Mica when I owned this bass:
top and back: Koa
core: Mahogany
through-body neck: Maple and Purpleheart short scale
fingerboard: Ebony with mother of pearl ovals
peghead veneers: Koa and Maple
