Two F-1xs for sale at 2 Guitar Center stores.
Just do a search at their site under used gear, Alembic.
Now they have 3 of them fs!

How come the closest one to me is also the expensivist one? jk - not in the market. One of them looks super-dusty!
I'm thinking about grabbing one of these.
I already have a F-2B. Why would I want that AND an F-1X? (Noting that I should never have sold my SF-2)

Michael, you may find this thread interesting, and educational. The F-1X and F-2B are decidedly different voices. http://club.alembicguitars.net/index.php?topic=25102.0
Edward: thank you!
After reading the linked thread, I can understand why I have seen guitar players (including me) use an F-2B, but don't recall ever seeing a six-stringer using an F-1X. I have both - I use the F-2B and my F-1X is in my studio bass rig.
Bill, tgo
The F-2B is really the front end, or preamp section, from a vintage Fender guitar tube amp. It has a classic warm and nice tube sounding tone with a wide range of EQ or tone settings available.
You can drive it like a tube amp and push the tubes. You can also try various tubes in it and get lots of tones. You can also cascade the 2 channels together for yet more sounds.
