Oh my! That is sexy!
I wish it didn't have the original owners initials as an inlay.

That's one of the easiest of all custom options to undo. I sure wouldn't let it stop you if I you're seriously attracted to this bass... it'd be a fraction of the cost to just have a luthier inlay a square of ebony between the 11th and 12th frets, and order a correct size pearl oval from Alembic to go in there. Or have your initials put there for a while. While you're at it, might as well pick up a new backplate. ;)
As much as this guy loves Omega-cut Alembics, the Triple-O doesn't do it for me. I would however, LOVE to show up at a bluegrass gig with it. Or an Spyder/Exploiter. Either one. ;D
I think the attraction is residual from my metal days. If money weren't a consideration, I would buy it in a heartbeat though.
Well after all still a real bargain.
Only wondering why the action is set that high.

Definitely a nice price.

If you were a fan of the Tennessee Valley Authority, it would be a plus.

The action does look to be set quite high.
I think I'm going to that store this week, will check out the action :-)
...Or won't, looks like its gone.
Did you happen to know the original owner of this one, FC? I figure in that corner of the world, you might have traveled the same circles.
