 Poor thing. (http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/fs-feeler-1985-alembic-spoiler-998823/) Why people replace Alembic electronics with anything else is a mystery to me.

But the brand new Bart pickups and pre sound every bit as good as the originals! :p

Bart p/ups & preamps are excellent; I wouldn't hesitate to put them in any bass - EXCEPT A FREAKIN' ALEMBIC!!!!  Geez........barbarians out there, I tell you!

A partial rout for slapping.  Wierd.  Nice top though. I'm sure it sounds great, and plays like one of ours, but what a mistake to swap out the Alembic electronics.
