Brian picks good basses, and this one's got a pretty good price to boot. Pics are on his site. The year part of the serial number is obscured by the E string but the second part of the s/n is visible and appears to be 249x.

That's my old bass.
Serial number is 83D2434
I sold it to Robes London Sept 07 for about the same price Brian's asking.
He sold it on BassGear that Dec.

Nice Bass ,I have an 81 . I can see the power LED in the pic on this one.
