...and it's only $20,000. Isn't this the only maple-fingerboard Alembic in existence?

No, there's Eduardo's Spooky Bass (http://club.alembicguitars.net/index.php?topic=7380) still under construction. Mica's comment on the first post, From time to time, someone compels us to make a Maple fingerboard.
 
[EDIT]... and how could I (not) forget the current featured custom, The Love Giver.
