This seems quite an exciting find, if you have GBP 13,000 (about $17,333) to spare.  The dealer is pretty reputable, so I take it as a genuine sale

Was this one of John's first Alembics? It presumably predates his Explorer Alembics (which I saw him playing in 1979)
