In the pictures, it looks to me like the shafts are completely missing from the crossover pots - if so, then some parts and soldering will be required.
Might be a good deal for anyone who has some basic tech skills. I myself have the skills; but also plenty of preamps and too many other projects stacked up.
Great price and could get it fixed good as new. Says the preamp works so if you are not using the crossover then killer deal!
Somebody snagged it.
Just looking at the pictures of the insides, the crossover module looked like it could be easily unplugged and removed from the unit and sent back for the pots to be replaced. Not sure if that renders the preamp unusable or not but I bet a lot of folks never use the crossover anyway. (I found a couple fun ways to use mine... for instance, just the lowpass output)
In the picture, it looks like all three output jacks (full range, low, high) are driven by that little module.
But yeah, take that out and replace the pots, send it back for repair, or just buy a replacement... someone, somewhere got a nice deal.
