I ran across this on GC and since I was in the area decided to check it out. Listing says "Works Great". http://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/ALEMBIC/EPIC-Electric-Bass-Guitar.gc

The electronics have been swapped out for Bartolinis and a thumb rest was added. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed and decided not to take this home.

I recall previous discussions on here of people wanting to do this to an Alembic, it sure looks like someone did, and decided not to keep it.
