I wish this person posted a pic.

It says he'll email you one. Somebody stop this guy from going to a pawn shop!
You'll only find out if you call or email. There's not much risk in making that first contact. If I were in the area, I would make the call whether I was in the market for the bass or not. If it's really a Signature Custom in decent shape for under $2K, then it's a very good value to keep or to turn over for a couple hundred dollar profit. If you're worried about it being hot, then take some precautions (though I am not sure exactly what you can do to be protected).
I'd also get the serial number and check with Alembic to see if it's on the stolen list.
Bill, tgo

I've been e-mailing the seller, and judging by the partially visible serial number the bass does not appear to be stolen...don't blow this fopr me guys! ;-)
the owner emailed me pics of this one. It is s fine looking bass. If I hadn't promised myself that my next Alembic would sport the series 1 electronics, I would snap this one up. I led him to this club telling him he should post an ad here
Nice looking bass, isn't it? I've never been one for spalted maple, but this one I like...if I get offered the job I'm angling for I'll probably go for this bass, especially considering what I recently had to pass up.
He posted pictures of it.

Yes, that is indeed a nice looking bass!
...and the price has changed again. I'm starting to think this guy's about 15, tops.
