Change the "Shipping location" to USA, and there's lots of familiar shapes like Bill says.

saw the discription - "....macassar ebony luthier". thinking - "i own a macassar ebony bass body and i paid way more than $215 USD for it". who000OOO000ooo!. interestingly, no bass bodies.
What do you think the body wood is?
I wish these things would quit popping up in my saved Alembic search. Apparently, anything with multi-laminated woods is "Alembic style". ::)

i'll confess to being slightly less than lucid earlier. mine's actually a walnut body core with ebony top. kinda tryin to imagine if what it would weigh were it
all ebony. don't wanna think about it. kinda like a steinberger only way heavier?
as for the "Alembic Style Custom Guitar Body 1 of a Kind Handmade Macassar Ebony Luthier" body, one of the body layers looks suspiciously like OSB (a.k.a. plywood). i once played a 5-string bass with an OSB body. was kind thin soundin..
i bought two bodies for diy projects, and they look great. the wood is mostly reclaimed. i had long chats with the guy who makes them, he's helpful and creative.
minor gripes are that the routing pockets are a bit rough, and the electronics covers aren't fully flush but they will probably turn out really nice when all is said and done. i also bought some good parts to install, but i just haven't had the time to tackle the projects lately
