I have no involvement with this bass.
Seen at the St. Paul MusicGoRound:
Serial # 82DFS2337. The store called the mothership and this is apparently a factory second; the bookmatch was not up to standard.

Medium scale.
It looks like a Walnut top, maple accent lam & mahogany body, with purpleheart (or walnut or mahogany) neck laminates.
The bass is very clean with no obvious flaws, except that the original strap button has been broken off and a new one added. There is an LED, but I don't know its purpose. There are a couple of missing screws on the back access cover and one on the bridge, but (according to the store) replacements have been ordered.
Original HSC (which I did not see), $2500. This bass was originally reported as a Signature.
I've attached some really dreadful pictures.

Pics are not that bad! Like when my glasses get dusty. Gets the point across. NLP
BTW, this wouldn't happen to be the same one
kungfusheriff mentioned in a previous thread?
NLP
It is the same bass. I heard that it was purchased & returned, something about the buyer prefering a 5 string.
This bass is still available.
