Although the pickup height adjustment screws look a little odd

Nice Bass , and yes , there seems to be an issue with the pickup height adjustment screws .

Not an uncommon sight. Many folks don't realize that the screws underneath the pickup are meant to be that way so they take them out and screw them in from the top. Makes sense in some ways, four holes, four screws and pickup needs to be fastened down.
