Vintage Alembic 76' 452 is now on here (http://page14.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/s28560383)

Bridge and Tailpiece are rusty, and dings are on the head and point.
She has nice top and back woods. (Vermilion ? or Purpleheart ?)

BUT, the stating price is terrible !
It's JPY 590000 (over $ 5000) !

The file says Purpleheart top and back and Cherry core. Maple and Walnut neck. July 26, 1976 birthday (almost 30 years old).

The scale length is Long or Medium ?

And I found very curious point.
One position mark is on the 22 fret !?
I have never seen it on 22 fret.

It's a 32 inch scale. There is no notation about the fret marker, as in a custom order. I would tend to think that was an error.

looks very much like my 76399, which is a 32. has weathered almost the same way (some bubbling on the brass but not that kind of rust).

but they got the fret positions correct on mine.
