I have sent two inquiries to the seller regarding this . There seem to be a propensity of FIshyness from past observances in the style of listing , But perhaps it is really legit in which case I will bid , but only if I can pick up in person. sonicus

Saw that last night. Extremely suspicious. The sellers user name doesn't match the winning bidder of the original auction, and they've got zero feedback. The $2.50 shipping is a bargain though. LOL!
If your interested in a real 32 Distillate in great condition that will actually be delivered, mine is up for sale. PM me.
HI Brian ,
I have considered your Distillate for sure. Perhaps my obsession with shipping angst has been a drawback . That is my own problem that I am not in denial of. I have had so much merchandise damaged during shipping__. The one that I started this thread on is theoretically about a 3 or 4 hour drive for me.
Alert to all Alembic Club friends : ___I have sent this seller 2 inquiries through the eBay system over 24 hours ago and I have not had any replies at all ___ nothing ! I do not think that I will bid under such circumstances. It could be ok , but then again not .
Has anyone else been in contact? Any replies? Be Careful my friends ___ Caveat Emptor !
I saw this as well and made attempts to contact the seller. I ended up contacting the East Coast seller, and he told me those were his photos and text, but not his auction. Ebay was warned of this being a fraudulent auction, but no action was taken. It was a scam for sure.
Another reason to buy from people on this topic board. Two alembic basses, an F-1X and a SF-2 as well as another bass in the works. Everything I have received has been as advertised and at a fair price.
