already posted in the gigs section but thought it worth posting again for those who don't look over there :-)
we received a request from Stash radio in germany for some tunes so we've sent them recordings from the Dumfriess gig.
Live broadcast will be TONIGHT 9 September 10-12 PM CET on Radio FSK:
93,0 MHz antenna - 101,4 MHz cable (Hamburg and vicinity)
www.fsk-hh.org/livestream (http://www.fsk-hh.org/livestream) (everywhere in the world)
Or a bit later on www.stash-radio.de/archiv.htm (http://www.stash-radio.de/archiv.htm) (mp3 download)
Additionally on 18 September 6-8 PM CET on Radio Weser.TV in
Bremerhaven (www.radioweser.tv (http://www.radioweser.tv)).
I believe he'll be playing three of our songs and talking a bit (although you'll need to speak german to follow what he's saying)
fame at last. Hopefully it'll generate enough interest to get us onto some european festivals next year.
graeme
So that would be 4 PM this afternoon here on the east coast of the US, and 1 pm on the west coast.
assuming the forum timestamps are california I think you're right Dave.
Graeme
Yes, the timestamps are west coast.
So there's no way to know when during the two hours the three songs will be played?
'Fraid not dave. We're rehearsing tonight anyway so we'll all be listening to the MP3 download anyway.
Graeme
I just turned it on, and there's a Dead tune playing; so it must be your band. And it's a very good jam on Shakedown Street.
Maybe it wasn't your band. After the song ended, the announcer was saying something about Mushrooms, which I'm guessing was the name of the band.
Well, I listened to the last 45 minutes of the broadcast, and either I missed your band or I heard the last five minutes of your set. I will say that the whole 45 minutes was very nice, and I wished I had remembered to turn it on earlier. Will watch for the download.
Thanks for trying Dave :-) Hopefully it'll be more obvious where we are on the download. I'll hopefully get a chance to listen myself this evening.
Graeme
just spoken to our guitarist and he says we're playing space, ramble on rose and china cat sunflower sometime in the first half of the show.
Graeme
The introduction to Graeme's band starts at around 41:30.
I've not listened to much GD over the years, so Space caught me by surprise. Might need to give them a chance, lol.
Graeme, sounds great, here's to continued success with the band.
Thanks Michael; listening now. Sounds great!
