Hi, I plan to make a trip to the mothership in person with my wife in the near future to take a tour. I was wondering, besides the Alembic factory tour, what other attractions are around Santa Rosa? I saw on trip advisor there was a safari that looks interesting.
If you're a fan of Snoopy and Charlie Brown there's the Charles.M.Schultz museum. Wish I'd known about it when we visited the mothership.

Oh yea, I remembered seeing that when searching "Things to do in Santa Rosa". I was never into Snoopy but I think its a good place to visit just for a history lesson on cartoons. ;D

Redwoods.
Armstrong Woods is a little north of Santa Rosa.
Hitchcock.
Bodega and Bodega Bay (featured in "The Birds") are both a little west of Santa Rosa toward the coast.

Absolutely breathtaking views from the rugged Pacific coast line west and northwest of Santa Rosa.
Mombos Pizza on Mendocino Avenue in Santa Rosa - excellent NY style thin crust pizza.
Also, I don't know if they give tours, but you might want to check out Mesa Boogie which is about 15 miles down the road in Petaluma.

Russian River Brewing Company (https://russianriverbrewing.com/?age-verified=0e58f01be1) is in downtown Santa Rosa - it's famous for their Pliny the Elder & Pliny the Younger (the latter only available for a couple of weeks in February). Don't go if you're not interested in beer though!
