Very interesting.
All I got out of this was the Steve Miller song " Go On Take The Money & Run!"
Saw the headline this morning, but haven't read anything about it yet. Thanks for posting.
Where does Chicago Music Exchange fit into the arrangement?

Great question. I was wondering the same thing.
None of the articles I read mentioned anything about CME.
This article (https://www.builtinchicago.org/2019/07/22/reverb-etsy-acquisition) seems to suggest that the owner, David Kalt, sold Reverb but not Chicago Music Exchange.

That was my take on it, as well.

More research reveals that David Kalt purchased Chicago Music Exchange in 2010 from former owner Scott Silver.
David Kalt then created Reverb (a separate company) in 2013.
Thus, CME and Reverb are not connected and CME is not affected by the acquisition of Reverb by Etsy.
