Looking for a recording studio in the Bay Area for my band to lay down 4 or 5 songs for posterity. Our drummer of 15+ years will be moving to Israel for good next month and we'd like to send him off with a remembrance. Anyone have a particular studio they like? (Also looking for a new drummer).
Bill, tgo
I would say with out question Hyde St. Studios www.hydestreet.com (http://www.hydestreet.com)
I took some classes there in 1974 when it was still WALLY HEIDER STUDIOS , I went there last year to visit during the last AES Convention (Audio Engineering Society) It is an AWESOME facility.
My home studio has served me well for the past 7 years, but I'm curious: how much is studio time (in a studio like that one) going for these days?
