This tour started last Sunday at Oxford. I am going to Derngate Northampton to see them this Sunday 14th Oct and can't wait. Have got a Circle Box seat on HIS SIDE OF THE STAGE!! Anyone going or been already to see them on this tour? Glynn
Was at the 30th Anniversary but not going to this one as I am away on holiday..should be pretty good judging by the posts on the official site(I am a long time fan!)
Yes - saw them on Sunday. Just under a 2 hour set from them. Still as good as ever. 2 x 4 x 10 TC Electronics cabs plus TC amp - good sound but no better than his previous stuff but you can't tell, of course, unless you hear without the PA input. Two Status basses - one with blue LEDs and one with red. A particularly good acoustic set. Even though I am a massive fan, I wouldn't pay ?10 for a programme, even if signed. Pete Ray Biggin amazing on drums which were sound produced a bit less overpowering than Gary Husband and fitted well. Support, Dan Clews worth checking out. Had a very good view of the band. Digging out my vinyl edition of Running In The Family now. You can guess the average age of the fans! Glynn
murray..yes at the 30th anniversary tour I looked around and you suddenly realise that they are all in their early to mid 50's(as am I!)
I managed to get the backplate of my MK Signature bass signed by Mark.
