Who is this wonderful resource that moderates our forum?

Does he work at Alembic?  Is he a volunteer?

He has helped me many times.

Our moderator Dave is a wonderful volunteer that lives across the country from the factory. He's also the owner of a couple of fine Series instruments and plays out regularly with his band Montford Park.

He's got enough good Kharma, he could probably sell Kharma credits (a la carbon credits) for a lifetime to the rest of us..  ;)

Ditto on the help comment. Dave is always quick to help out anyone who asks. He is also able to keep a level head when many of us would have chosen a less socially acceptable response to behavior on this forum that is not usually seen.
Please keep up the good work. You are one of the reasons I visit this site everyday.
Thanks,

Regards
Pete

He's a great guy.
Very knowledgable, and a pleasure to do business with.

Hah!!!

Thank you, for the comments, the community, and for your friendship.

I'll add my name to the list of Dave's fans.  Consistently level-headed, and the voice of reason scarcely found on the internet.  I don't think this community would be nearly so polite or enjoyable without him.  I can't say that I have ever praised another moderator.  Thanks Dave.

By the way, I was just trying to check out the Montford Park website, and the link was dead.  Too bad, I was hoping to check out their music.

Dave, keep up the good work, my heart goes out to you, too.

Kevin, I had the same problem. You may want to learn a bit of Montford Park in the Gigs section of the board. I've found two  links at a glance. I believe there are links to some stuff that they are doing.
