Who is this wonderful resource that moderates our forum?
Does he work at Alembic? Is he a volunteer?
He has helped me many times.
Our moderator Dave is a wonderful volunteer that lives across the country from the factory. He's also the owner of a couple of fine Series instruments and plays out regularly with his band Montford Park (http://www.montfordpark.com/).
He's got enough good Kharma, he could probably sell Kharma credits (a la carbon credits) for a lifetime to the rest of us.. ;)

Ditto on the help comment. Dave is always quick to help out anyone who asks. He is also able to keep a level head when many of us would have chosen a less socially acceptable response to behavior on this forum that is not usually seen.
Please keep up the good work. You are one of the reasons I visit this site everyday.
Thanks,
Regards
Pete
He's a great guy.
Very knowledgable, and a pleasure to do business with.
Kris
Indeed. Dave is a great guy and a friend to us all. Thanks Dave!
Bill
I believe dave will be writing a book soon!
A star!!
Hah!!!
Thank you, for the comments, the community, and for your friendship.
I'll add my name to the list of Dave's fans. Consistently level-headed, and the voice of reason scarcely found on the internet. I don't think this community would be nearly so polite or enjoyable without him. I can't say that I have ever praised another moderator. Thanks Dave.
By the way, I was just trying to check out the Montford Park website, and the link was dead. Too bad, I was hoping to check out their music.
Dave, keep up the good work, my heart goes out to you, too.
Kevin, I had the same problem. You may want to learn a bit of Montford Park in the Gigs section of the board. I've found two (http://club.alembicguitars.net/index.php?topic=10177) links at a glance. I believe there are links to some stuff that they are doing.
Christian
He once rescued me from the side of the road!
He removed a thorn from my paw!
I heard he cured the blind and lame.
Ya'll keep this up and Daves hat won't fit anymore.
Seriousley though, Dave is one cool cat. In fact he's sooooo cool, that I got an email from him the other and had to put on my jacket.
Stay Cool Dave,
OO
Ditto's to all the above!
Cool dude, good guy, etc, etc. ;)
Seriously, a heart felt thank you for all his help and all the good vibes he gives the Alembic community.
I only hope we're able to meet in person one of these days. It would be a real pleasure.
Best Regards,
Kimberly
Thanks for everything you do, Dave.
If everyone knew as much about Alembics as Dave, there wouldn't be much use for the forum. There wouldn't be much to talk about anymore.
Are we talking about Dave, or Chuck Norris?
Ditto, ditto, ditto. Thanks, Dave, for all you do and especially for who you are.
Rich
Thanks again guys; and it's all of you who make this the community that it is, so thanks again to all of you for that as well. It is certainly a pleasure to be in such fine company.
I can't get to the site either; I've left a message with Jon, the guitar player, advising him that it's down.
Because of other stuff in life, I haven't been on the board as much as I would like recently, and I also haven't been practicing as much as I would like. The two go hand in hand, as I draw a lot of musical inspiration from this community; and I'm thinking that's probably true for a lot of you too. Anyway, I hope to get some of the other stuff balanced out to where I'm back here and in the practice room a lot more.
Thanks again, and have a wonderful whichever part of the day it is in whatever part of the world you're in!
