Just found out we can do colors here. This is wild!
Just type your colored text and put
it in between brackets like this. And make sure Enable HTML code in message is clicked.
Sure is a nice change.

Hmmm... any other colors besides blue, purple, and red? Yellow works, if you just type in yellow -but it's hard to see...
If you're going to use yellow text, you better time your message to get the gray background.
I can see that!!! Thanks again for the share, jahnahisti! I just gave it a little practice workout on another thread, and I've got it down pretty well.
Uhm... any other colors that'cha know of?
I see that, for red, purple, and yellow, you just type in the spelling of the color... but blue has a alphanumeric code -for whatever reason.
Any other colors that'cha know of? I'd love to be able to write in orange, green, and pink!!! And maybe brown and lime green!!!
Mark, check this (http://www.2createawebsite.com/build/hex-colors.html%20target=_blank) page.
Some are awfully hard to see, but I believe this is all of them... If I never make another contribution to the Alembicians at least I can give the gift of COLOR to some! Here you go 8 String. Enjoy. Lime is killer as is thistle-khaki-aquamarine!

Slow day Brian?
If you come across a spell check in there let me know
Firefox 2.0 has spell check for web forms.
Bradley
y'know i only did this because i was curious as to the extent of html allowed on posts for this particular website.
i was noticing that a lot of html wasn't allowed to do it's thing when entered here so if there's anything else you can do beside links, you should post it here, since we're curious.
if nothing else for a cool signature,
?rian

Make sure you have the Enable HTML Code box checked.
I did. Right off the bat. But it didn't work. Repeatedly.
And I've done every thing the same way. Red worked by itself -but the others didn't.
And now it does work. Even though I've been doing the same thing.
Hmm. Well, thanks again for sharing.

Interesting. I just copied the previous text and NOW it worked... even the the HTML was checked before (and always is)... there must have been a glitch in the system, or something.
By the way, thanks, too, TomZ
That is pretty cool Brian. I'm surprised this wasn't explored before.
Well it WAS after 4/20.
Cannot get this to work with Win 98 SE.Can anyone help?

Cannot get this to work with Win 98 SE.Can anyone help?
I'm sorry Chuck, but when I read this I felt reminded of everything that is wrong in this world. Get a Mac! Mac/windows PC as Alembic/Squier.
Chuck,
What browser are you using?
Keith
Google.updated Win.explorer.
Chuck
Try Firefox 2 from Mozilla.com. It is more current and a much better browser IMHO.
Keith
Colors ain't all you can do
There you go flashing again.
You know it only works with Firefox on my pc, not IE-7.
Thanks for the onfo but apparently win.98 will not support this or mabye I'm missing something.I know about as much about computers as I do about Calculus.
Chuck
Chuck,
It is related to the browser not the operating system. Firefox will run on Win 98 so you really should give it a try. If you need help with it send me an e-mail and I can give you a call.
Keith
Thanks Keith.I'll give it a try tomorrow
Chuck
Couldn't agree more James. In the UK at the moment, Which? is advertising a free, Easy to use PC guide. Should be just three words in my opinion:
Get a Mac!

Well color my world with hope!
NLP
Well so much for hope! Drats!
I'll just have to settle for black and white for now.
NLP
One more try.
Old dogs can learn new tricks.
Bark, Bark!

No hope
Turns out there was HOPE!
The smileys are killer too! Thanks Bracheen
Are there any other smileys you can do?
