Although I've yet to hear one or indeed play one I think Ritter basses at least look good enough to be included in the finest European. basses.

I found this company yesterday whilst looking for a source of knobs for my guitar and their descriptions of their build process, style and ethos regarding constructing and design of their basses sounds very similar to Alembic.

Thanks folks. I got this bass from PJ (owner of the Rio bass and a whole bunch of other Alembics). If you go to the website (http://ritter-instruments.com/item_info.php?i=361), you can find pictures of it and some will have PJ playing it before it was mine.
