I'm sitting in the second deck at Oakland Coliseum in between games at the Oakland A's Minnesota Twins doubleheader. This is the first time I've been out to a public event in over a year. I've had both my shots, over two weeks ago, am wearing a mask, and our seats are socially distanced from everyone else. Feels good, but also a little strange. The stadium is almost empty, I wouldn't be surprised if the attendance is in the hundreds instead of the thousands. But it's a live baseball game! Wahoo! I wonder what "normal" will look like once we get there?

That's awesome, Bill, can't wait to go to Fenway again...Go Saux! :)
Right on!
I'm sorry to tell you, Rob, but your Sox are the wrong color......
Peter (who actually hasn't been to a game since '94, and is usually only still a Sox fan when around Cubs fans.........)
We wear Red Sox in Salem, Virginia. 8)

I have read that when a woman gives birth she eventually forgets the pain involved and may even try it again! As I am out more and more after getting my shots I think this last year will be like that.
I dunno, David; The Lovely & Charming Mrs. Cowboy seems to remember the pain just fine - but She did it 3 times anyway.

I suspect a man wrote that!

It's possible a man wrote it! I did pass a kidney stone a while back and I don't think about it much anymore though...
I passed one a couple of years ago. I remember how painful it was. I wouldn't want to go through that again.

Oh, I miss playing live for an audience so much... Glad you're back on duty, Bill.
