Hey everyone. I'm trying to find a 3/4 size electric guitar case that would fit a strat. I just bought a Johnson 3/4 size strat for my 9 year old who has showed an interest in learning guitar in the last couple of months. He's been playing a little gut-string but has been begging for an electric. The Johnson is quite impressive for the price - $99.00! It's set up just like a strat - 3 pick-ups; 5 position switch; even a whammy bar! And it is actually quite playable! (I haven't plugged it into my boogie yet or the SF-2 - that should be interesting).
Anyway, my son would love a hardshell case so he can put stickers on it (just like the old man). Unfortunately, all I've been able to find is a gig bag. If anyone knows where I can find a hardshell case, it would be very much appreciated.
Happy Channakwanzamas to all.
Bill, tgo
I hearcd people talking of a Channuka gift??
No here is the moron of the gang again: what is Channakwanzamas?? Is it an old native amrican indian thing or a veeeeeeeeery bad pronounciation of a dialect word for Saint christmas?? ...or something more obscure???
PTBO
Paul, it's a combination holiday greeting, Channuka, Kwanzaa, & Christmas. One of those tongue-in-cheek, politically correct American things.

Hi there brother Sam!
How are you doing??
You know ...we (=Drive) played The Stapleton again in Leuven yesterdaynight. Man ...it was HUGE!
Pictures about to follow!
Still I got this question: what is Channuka, Kwanzaa ....hum ...i think I know what Christmas is.
Paul the bad one
Paul,
Channuka is the multi-day Jewish celebration, Kwanzaa is a similar African holiday. They all occur in December.

Merry Hanukwanzmas!

Paul; here is an article about Channuka. I don't know anything about the author or anything about the website where I found it. I am not a student of Judaism and can not thus vouch for the accuracy of the article. It was the first article I came across and it seemed like a good place to start.

And here is an article about Kwanzaa. Again, this is a subject about which I am no authority.

Bill, I ran a search for a 3/4 case but found nothing that looked helpful.
I would guess your best bet would be to see if you can get a shotgun/rifle case in the right size and cut a foam block to the right shape for the inside.

try calling Manny's in New York City. They're on W.48th Street in Manhattan. If anyone has that size case, they do or can tell you where to get one.
