Played as an upright, I assume............
Now thats a hand full. Lay it down, palm the note while plucking and tapping with your feet. For slide affects just use forehead. LoL NLP
I've seen this before...;^)
I don't follow the market for used Schack basses, but I'm thinking $19,000 is a bit on the high side for this particular model.
Cool, but totally ridiculous.....

Strings, $250.00
chiropractor for your back,$1000.00
truck to haul the case,$20.000.00
the look on your guitar player's face when you pull it out of the case, ..................PRICELESS
Do you think the airlines would let you carry this one on? lol
Bill, tgo
LOL, But where could you buy the gigbag?
Strap wings on it and you could fly it home. Since it's not a commercial plane though you'd probably have to land it at, (drum roll please) a Military Bass.
lie
grrrroooooaaaaannn!!!!
Bill, tgo
Well, if it's sized in scale to the ego of the player, this big sob might be just the thing for several people who quickly come to mind . . . .

Of course, you'd have to get that phone-booth sized SVT that Ampeg made for the NAMM show a couple of years back, but geez, a MONSTER cable for a 2 jack is gonna make \9 grand for the bass seem cheap . . .

Ah, that's nothin compared to this AwEsOmE Ampeg at GC!!! Get it while its still available!

In case they remove the listing at the GC site: it's a second hand SVT410E 4x10 cab on sale for Only $69,999,399.99. Easy money.
I'll take two!
Graeme
Why not just list it for $69,999,400? I guess their experience suggests they can entice more buyers by listing it at $69,999,399.99. But I for one am not persuaded by that price.
Dave,
What you have to understand is that this is a vintage cabinet. It's got a nitrocellulose finish on the cone, which makes for an amazing vibe.
Trust me, you've never heard such a warm, meaty, barky, mid-to-low-mid honky rig that isn't nasal sounding in all your life.
It perfectly captures the vintage vibe while having a bit of top end sparkle for a more modern sound.
You will now buy it.
Bradley
Oh; but I'm not really looking for a warm, meaty, barky, mid-to-low-mid honky sound. Now if they only had a low-mid-to-mid at that price.
