OK, so I stumbled upon and have been wandering around this site for about a month reading some very informative and interesting threads, and am rather embarrassed that I only recently found it so I figured I'd join!
But it did light a fire in my rear to do some long-needed cleaning up and freshening of my SII. I am the original owner and have happily played this instrument as my main axe for all these years with a little competition from the fretless.
I'll be forthcoming with a pic or two, and probably some stories, if ya'll are interested.
And a warm greeting for Se?or Johnson, kudos to you and your accomplishments. My ears perked up when I heard my first BB's disc (yes, one of my first CDs - Big Note) and thought - wow, that sounds familiar. I had no clue...and I mean that as the most sincerest compliment possible, as y'all know nothing sounds like an Alembic and Jimmy's superb playing. And he's here typin' along...
So, enough for a first post, thanks to Alembic for being here, and I'm glad I found it. (Hi Mica, we've spoken before, but it's been years...!)
Nice to see ya Lenny,
I'm lookng forward to pictures and stories of your SII
Welcome to the club from Scotland Lenny. Also looking forward to pictures. There's at least one other club member - micheal delacerda in new orleans, you should look him up.
