whatever...thats not fair!!! you have got to be kidding me right!!  what are you supposed to say!!  the wickersham's, man just when you thought you had seen the nicest one!  then this thing shows up.  this is the reason why we all love this company isnt it!!?? where will it stop? my oh my is all i can really say, lol

That is a cool bass!  The pickups are moveable on brass tubes.  By the way, the serial number on that one is 999.

Holy crap - that is one of the coolest Alembics ever.  A 5-string back in '78 - that was pretty unusual for the time. Wow!

I'd like to find out more about that moveable pickup system.  Thats the most elegant solution I've ever seen.  On other kinds of basses (Westone Rail, Spalt etc.), its looked like a dog's breakfast.
