Greg, it's hard to believe this bass left your hands to be with another...
 
My Blondie was pulling away, but I just slapped it around a bit, and I was good to go... I also like the fact that I can compare both Series basses and there are some very serious differences in sounds. (I'll discuss this some other time... but let me just say, now I know why people love vintage Alembic sounds...)  
 
I was basically on hiatus, until I read you were letting go of your 3-O-mi-goodness bass. But I understand, because I said good bye to a long scale Series I for the same reason (Heavy -- Too Heavy...) It hurt so good playing it, but my back was not happy.

Hal, I did try to keep it... But to be honest, I don't like to keep basses that I know I won't be playing much... I rather sell them and use the money to buy myself a new one. That is why I own two basses, only. I do a lot of work with them, and they are all I need...
It was said to let go such a magnificent bass, but I know the new owner is also very careful and passionate about his instruments.
And let me tell you something: I'm glad I sold it, because this Cocobolo thing is an unbelievable bass...
