I'm the latest person to have the privilege of owning Rob's 36" scale custom 5 string!  Lots of ebony in the neck and lots of beautiful coco bolo on the front and back. It's big, it's beautiful, and it's heavy, but ooohhh how it sounds...

I have a friend that is a bass player, we were at a cookout with a bunch of other musicians and he said that he's going to buy a used corvette for 10,000 dollars. The room got deathly quiet and the incredulous blank stares at moi began. Have no fear my Alembic brethren, I didn't blink and stared em' all down!
