Hi Guys, I have just found some new and not widely seen John Entwistle photos. The photos of his collection are variations to the one that is widely known, especially notice the one with the three Spyders shown. All photos courtesy of Repfoto. Enjoy! Oliver

Ollie,

Thanks for posting the pics. It always amazes me how you keep finding all this JAE stuff. You must be on a mission!

Looks like a game of how many Alembics can you find in the picture.
I see six I'm fairly sure of and a seventh that's a strong maybe.

Yes...the boots

Ollie...if you find a close up of his conn strobotuner that I can use as provinence I will send you an OLIVER (Bass, guitar, and vibraphone as one ad depicts) Head.
A close-up that would show the identification stickers is what I'm after (on the front it say's 'THE OX'...on the back are his initials 'JAE';  ...so that's my quest, to verify my Conn with pictures of it being used by the man. I see it in the background on alot of 70's stage shots...no close-ups yet.

Thanks again for the cool pics.

There's a nice picture of a Spyder here.  (Since the owner is actually selling prints of the pictures, I didn't want to copy it here.)

I like the small body size bass in the last photo with the Bigsby. I've seen Clarkee with a bass the same as that one. I wonder who had the idea first. :-)

I've had this saved to my hard drive for some time.  Don't know if it has been posted here before but I love this Alembic he is playing!
