Could you elaborate on the Neuser? Was it converted by Alembic or did Neuser/you/local luthier install those electronics?

The Neuser bass was built in Slovakia where all the installation where made. The purpose of this bass was to have a bass I could use at trade shows and performances where representing Neuser instruments. The instrument is pretty good, nice punch and midrange, not exactly Alembic, but good! This instrument is extremely nice to play. I have not used it too much for recordings?.
For recordings I prefer Alembic and Fodera basses depending on the session.
 
The Neuser Company has not made any basses since early 2000, as far as I know, and this bass has never been in production.  
 
Here are a few video clips where the bass is used. The video sound is maybe not the best, but you get the picture.  
 

Alembic fretless, the sound is right there. Not much to do, except to play the instrument!!    

That just might be the most perfect fretless sound I've ever heard.A beautiful piece of music too.

In regards to the fretless Alembic featured in your post #75 above I would be interested in the details as to that instrument such as  to all finger board details  and electronics package . Wood recipe of the instrument , scale length , etc as well . Many thanks for being here with us and sharing your time and wonderful music as well ,

Wolf?.The Alembic fretless I have is really a normal 34'scale Signature bass 1991 (today called Signature Deluxe) with Cocobolo top and back. The bass was converted to a fretless bass in 1995 because I needed a great sounding fretless bass to record a few tracks for my cd ?At The Music Box?. I did try several other basses too before converting the Alembic?.. and many of them were really great but with the Alembic?.you already know; the punch, clarity, sustain, dynamics and overall sound is just amazing!! I guess that if you order a fretless bass from Alembic it?s even better, but this works fine for me.

I need to get a copy of the Strandberg Project CD, I really like that music. The guitarists phrasing was refreshing, bass was blossoming and everybody really jelled.
