Burl can sometimes be ornery, but it's worth it! I'll post another pic in a day or two when the rubout is complete, it will knock your socks off.

WOW!

Jon finished the rubout, and brought it in the setup room today to start assembling all the goodies. I got this nice shot of the peghead with inlay:
 

 
The mother of pearl has a wonderful opalescence, flashing red to pink to green to blue. After setup, the guitar will rest a few days for the final testing so shipping is probably the first week of April.

Hey Mica and co - really, I have to say this looks 20x better than I could have hoped for (and I'm sure it looks even tastier in person).  I'm very excited to see it!
