I'm looking to making a new nut for my series bass.
But I can't make out the dimentions of if. According to my measurements it measures 40mm by 6 x 6 mm. In inches that would be something like 1.57 by 0.24 x 0.24 inches
Anyone heard of this dimentions before?? And if there are any bass hardware stores that sells blanks roughly this size?
 
It doesn't have the adjustable nut btw, as this is a very early Alembic.

I can think of no better place to start looking than the mothership.
