David, Truly an piece of functional art worthy of coveting by anyone from the most skilled to the new initiate. If I was in another type of group it would be a 12 not a 10 for me. Thanks everyone for your comments and sentiments. It is nice and wonderful to hear that this project is worthy of your posts. This instrument is certainly a 'looker'. Can't wait to see more pix (back, whole instrument?) and in conclusion, to actually get this in my hands to create. It is very exciting, no? In the meantime, I wait in frazzled anticipation and quietude.

Beyond stellar. The tonal palate you will have at your fingertips will be beyond the dreams of avarice. I've played Tripp's wide 8 and this  should surpass it in sustain and deep tone.
 
The  Accugroove (to me ) is a very uncolored sound, no controls for tweets and mids, each component is separated from the others. Full sound that is reproduced not enhanced.

wow, what a sound machine! i love the fretboard, the tailpiece, the wood, the electronics, the scale length, the number of strings... such a complete instrument! i would love to hear it!!
