Let the darkness continue! Congrats from an opaque fanatic.

That is a VERY nice wood and stain combination.  I especially like the way the stain works with the maple and purpleheart intersection.  Beautiful!  What type of hardware is being installed?

a short scale with MK body ? ok !! tu as donc la basse de tes r?ves, esp?ront que le manche tienne ses promesses ! On ne voit pas la diff?rence de proportion, le body a ?t? r?duit un peu ?

That almost black finish is to die for.

I got to sing...

Cha goonn goon goon...

That old black magic has me in its spell, that old black magic that you weave so well.
Those icy fingers up and down my spine
That same old witchcraft when your eyes meet mine.
The same old tingle that I feel inside, and then that elevator starts its ride
And down and down I go, round and round I go, like a leaf that's caught in the tide...

YEAH!

Holder her with these... The best idea of a strap lock I ever seen and used.

Wonderful finish, color, wood - I am in awe of the workmanship and will have to commission one very soon.  Toma hawk - your picture above looks very similar to my Flamed Maple 74 Series I which weighs under 8 lbs - what is that gorgeous back the back of?

Thank you Tod,

This bass is a 1976 series 1 shorty.

People laugh at me (even here) but I wax it down with extra virgin olive oil. I use it on my skin too.

I don't ware belt buckles on the front... This keeps the bass ding-free too.

Also, This Black Bass is such a treat to see.

At FTC, if I see a instrument that strikes my vocal cords, I have to sing...

It means, it fits me to a t. I been singing a lot lately. But, I do this with the joy in my lungs and heart. It makes me feel great to see others happy. It's what I wake up for... to see the magic and the splendor of anticipation. It's like when I was a child, my friends and I would gather up and look through the window of great toys we wish and say someday... Well, for these folks, that someday is now!

Those Lucky so-and-so's!!!

Yoo hoo! There's an almost secret inlay on your bass now:

From some angles, it almost disappears, and then others, it is alive with fire. Great looking shell, and I hope you still love the font.

Soooooooooo cool!!!

Your bass is in rubout, so it's looking a little hazy right now:

But shiny it will get sometime next week (except of course the back of the neck).
