Wow. It's so cool with everyone in the shop armed with cameras that we can collect all these amazing images of the building process. Of course, most of the pictures happen in the assembly area.  Wet glue:

Neck taking form on the big band saw:

  Peghead "ears" in glue up:

Drilling out the inlays for the Laser LEDs:

  And test... they work!

Top and back laminates with plates cut out and reserved:

  Soon to be plates:

But first, need to resaw into veneers:

Then glue + LOTS of clamps:

  Peghead shaped:

  Neck getting rough shaped:

  Neck to body in process:

  Hey look... it's a bass!

And a little bit more shaping:

  How about that classic Point:

Just remember, once the bass hits spray, there will be very few images until it's done

Very nice indeed, another great set of pics! Good job capturing this wonderful work in progress.

Gianluca, as your friend, you know I have no words to describe my feelings towards this bass...
Can't wait to see it finished, in your hands!!
Now I have to find my jaw... I dropped it in here somewhere....

Continuing its journey in carving:

I love how the figuring flows into the Point - stellar!  Back too:

The color is a little bright from being freshly sanded.

A month is spray, and so far so good:

Don't worry about all those ghastly reflections, it really looks great.
