How about this for a new Ideal, A built in tuner on all LED built basses and guitar's, flip a switch and the LED's in the neck would strobe until the string or note was intune, this could be handy, tune on the fly.

I thinks that's a great idea!
I use a Korg DTR-1...............no other reason that it has loads of flashing lights.........(I'm crap arn't I ?!?)
I think maybe the side LEDS - red with a green 12th fret. You get sharps and flats.............how would you know what note you were playing though?
