Need some thoughts on my Guild Starfire project. Putting Alembic bridge and tailpiece + brass nut on my gutted 1970 SF. Electronics are 2 Darkstars & and AC East filter based preamp. Now the question is should i use a brass block under the bridge? Just wondering about tone not expense or difficulty just wanna know pro's con's sonically speaking?  Thanks as always for your thoughts.

HI Bear , YES!  I went with the brass block in 1975  when Alembic did it for me on my Starfire and, I do not regret it.
