Hi Ron,

Here's what I found in the instrument file:

PMB4 Persuader 4-string bass
top: Bubinga
accent: none
body: Mahogany
neck: 3-piece Maple
scale length: 32 medium
fingerboard: Ebony
inlays: Pearloid (plastic)
birthday: March 6, 1986
originally made for: not recorded

That's all there is - no previous owners or recorded repairs. Lovely piece of Bubinga. Please transcribe the serial number to either the electronics cavity or under the bridge pickup when you get a chance - it's precariously perched at the end of the fingerboard and we don't want to lose it in the future to a refret.

Hello Mica and new friends! I just purchased this bass from Ron (I think, unless there was an owner in-between) this week and am very excited to own my first Alembic. I've been lurking on the forum for awhile before signing up I'm excited to be posting now.  It's not here yet, I'm expecting to have it in the next few days. I'm looking forward to talking with you all!

Chris

P.S. - I'll check to see that the S/N transcription was done and make sure it is.

Just picked up this bass from Mr. Bill. My first Persuader, and I love it. It's my lightest Alembic. I have a feeling I'll be gigging a lot with this one.

Beautiful bass Rob, Congratulations & Compliments.  :)

Hard to beat a good ol' Persuader. That was my first, and it changed me for life.

~Gregory (who has also become fond of bubinga of late...)  ;D
