Hi Michael,  Did you mean 82S2188 as the serial number?  That would be appropriate from what I see in the current showcase area and serial numbers from 1982-83.  I have done my searches in our currently posted information and came up empty.  If you are considering a purchase of this instrument and need immediate information you may want to contact Alembic directly as sometimes these requests can take several months before they are posted.  Best, Art

Sorry, file is AWOL. But I can tell you the birthday was August 24, 1982, since 2187 and 2189 also share a birthday.
