Hi,
I bought this Series I from London Bass Centre in January 1990. I noticed there is a sisterbass 75-145 mentioned here earlier. Mine is just the same but just to make sure please dig in Your archives. Thanks!

Howdy, the serial number you have posted is actually the serial number of my Alembic. There are pics in the archives of serial number requests; http://club.alembicguitars.net/Images/394/24142.html?1139338367
Come to think of it, I don't think I ever received the info on my bass when I posted that request.

According to this link 75-143 was a duplicate serial number. Look at Mica's first post in that thread. Looks you both (Jan and Kevin) own 75-143. That's if I understood what I read correctly.

You know Olie, you are right, I do recall something about a sister bass with the same number. Sure would like to see some pics of her.
Thanks kindly.

Hi Jan,
how's Turku these days?
All Alembics safe and well on board?
I guess you must be dwelling some other side of the globe? The street of Madagascar perhaps??
Have a safe trip!

The mystery of the duplicate 75-143 is solved.

Cap, your bass is

top and back: Angico
core: Birch
neck: Walnut and Maple
scale: 30.75 short
fingerboard: Ebony

The original owner purchased the bass directly from us, only his name in in the file. The birthday is not in the file. I have a registration form from you in 2003 though!

Kev,
Your bass is:
top and back: California Walnut

No ownership details in the file except a note that you are the current owner as of 01-23-06. Birthday was also omitted from the original record.

Hello All. I was looking for an old bass I used to own and found it in this forum. The serial was 75-143. I purchased it in 1975 from Guitar Center in Hollywood, and sold it back to them in 1979. I see Kevin got it in 1980. Glad to see it has a good home. Here's a picture of it, when I owned it. Thanks all..
