Hi Mica, I would like to have the build sheet information for my just-purchased Essence 4-string (94K3291). I understand you are backlogged with similar requests and that it will take some time before you are able to get to my bass.  I just want to thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hi Carlos,

welcome to the board. Sure your Essence will be fun for you for many years to come. I loved my 4string and fiver fretless, but sadly had to part with both. I still have pictures and recordings...

your serial number seems strange, a 94' instrument should fall in the 8,000 range. I would guess the serial to be 94K8291.

all the best,
Christian

Hi Christian,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.  I would love to see your pictures and hear some of those recordings.  And, of course, you're absolutely right. As they say in football, upon further review, I noticed that what I saw as a 3 was really an 8 making the correct serial number:  94K8291. I'm really enjoying playing my Alembic!

Hi Carlos, welcome to the forum and congratulations on your Essence.  I changed the title of the thread accordingly.  All the best.  Play it Healthy!  Art

very cool, Carlos... thank you very much for your kind words. I posted pictures of all my basses - Alembics, anyway  to the showcase section of the board. Once you are able and willing to stop playing, you might also want to take photos and upload a few...

Here and here are my ex-girlies, Eva and Minnie

cheers, Christian

Hi Art,

Thanks for making the change. Hopefully, I will get some original build information on my bass in the near future.

Hi Christian,

I love Eva's looks...and Minnie is beyond words.  I will definitely take pictures of my Essence (that remains nameless as of today) as soon as I learn how to post photos on this site.  In the meantime, I will visit the showcase section of the board and feast my eyes on what I consider to be some of the most beautiful instruments ever made.
