Now that is top class. The bottom end must be very prominent as the neck pickup is right on the truss rod cover like one of my basses. Lovely bass my friend. I hope you have some great times playing music with it.

The original owner was from Washington.

Is it custom? From one perspective, every one is a custom build!  
 
But this bass was specifically built for the dealer in Arizona, and the original owner registered it a few months later, so I suspect it was made for store display.

I'm sure you would guess that I have been steadfast in waiting next to the computer this whole time for your response....  so, thank you for doing so....  
 
Side note, I learned that two of my friends in the Twin Cities owned it before I acquired it....
